I know that feel. I miss when search engines actually worked and let you use control commands, whereas now they mostly show what they are paid to show. It's like nobody realized that 1 trillon+ websites are useless if you can't find the one you need!

Consider putting terms like "small web," "old web," and "indie web" in your Interests. This will help you find other folks with similar interests.
